Appalachian State University's student organization for middle grades, the Collegiate Middle Level Association (CMLA) was selected to be the national chapter for 2013-2015 and will be traveling to the national conference of the Association of Middle Level Education (AMLE) in Minneapolis the week of November 4th 2013. 12 students, 5 professors, and 3 former students/current teachers will be attending and presenting multiple sessions at the conference which is held Nov. 7-9. This is a great conference (the only one for middle grades nationally) and a huge honor for our students! Congratulations!
